Week 1 of the Designer Darling Contest (And Lot’s of Freebies!)

All the contestants in the Designer Darling Challenge at Stuff to Scrap are starting to put their free mini-kits up on the blog! I put mine there yesterday! Click the preview of my mini-kit, “A Winter’s Day,” to pick up my entry as well as that of the other contestants. Then, scroll down for a free template from me!

I made several of the elements myself! Some are scanned and extracted, like the snowflakes, others I hand-drew, like the mittens! I hope you enjoy the kit and are able to make good use of it!

New Products (and a freebie of course!)

Hello, again! I have been hard at work finishing up my kits that are in progress, but took the time to  create some new cu/pu items! Wait to you see them! Mom and I stalk the craft fairs every fall, and we keep seeing these cool photo mats that are in the shape of words. I love the way photos look behind them, so I thought, why not design some for digital layouts? Taadaa!

These are available in all of my stores for $2 each. Each is saved in both .psd and .png formats so that they work with almost any program. I plan to create frames with lots more words, and matching full-size page templates. If you have any suggestions for words, please leave me a comment! I’m also thinking of adding a “Choose Your Own Name or Word” option so that you can customize!

New kit in stores (and a freebie!)

Hello! Sorry I was MIA. We had a busy weekend planned. As most of you know, my birthday was this weekend, plus we had our chapel Sunday School picnic. On top of that, we had to squeeze grocery shopping in somewhere, lol. Anyway, I’m back and bearing gifts (well, at least 1!)

I released a new kit in my stores at Butterfly Blush Designs and Scrap It Sassy. It’s called Summer Lovin’ and it reminds me of a mixed drink. Or maybe sherbet. Ha ha!

Here’s a layout I made using my new kit:

Plus, I totally remastered my Feelin’ Patriotic kit. I added a ton of stuff, made a bunch of new papers and changed it’s name to America.  You can find it exclusively at Scrap It Sassy.

New Kit in RCC’s Store, and a Freebie

Hey, all! I hope you enjoyed my “Hungry Caterpillars” kit. Template 3!

We had a great time at the zoo yesterday, and I was able to take some pictures that I plan to extract for future kits. Right now, I am working on making the invitations for my darling daughter’s birthday party. I am going with a “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” theme, so I think my next mini kit will feature the elements and papers I use for the invites and thank you cards.

My Second Layout and a New Template Freebie

I used to be the director of a church nursery school until they laid me off : (. My last day on the job was actually a field trip day and we took the kids to the farm. My husband came along so that we could bring our darling children. Of course, it rained almost the entire time. While that made for a not so great trip, the rain did allow me to get some great pics to use with Rustic Charm Creations’ new kit! I hope you like my new layout.
