I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We had fantastic weather and got to spend Saturday morning outside with the kids. We were supposed to go to New York, but that didn’t work out. So, instead of spending hours on the road today, I started making my first freebie kit! I decided to go with an Americana 4th of July theme. Maybe I was inspired by my flair attempt. Anyway, here are the papers. I hope you like them! I’ll have the elements finished later this week.

I turned my “Mermaid” layout into a freebie template for you! My first attempt at design! It is saved in both png and Photoshop formats. To download, just click on the preview. Today I have my second layout for Rustic Charm Creations. This lo features my darling daughter in her baby pool in our back yard. It took her a while to warm-up to swimming, but once she decided that she liked it, we had a hard time getting her out of the pool. Then, once she was out, she would stand at the back door staring at her pool.

I am working on making a digital scrapbook of my daughter’s first year. I’m pretty far behind since she is almost two, but I actually had started a paper scrapbook a long time ago. A friend of mine sent me a link for a free photobook recently, and I’ve been hooked on digi-scrapping ever since. The point of all that is… this is a layout I made from a trip to the farm when she was only 4 months old. Let me know what you think : )
