Retiring StrawBeary Designs

I am officially retiring StrawBeary Designs- and designing and selling only as Charm City Scraps.

I feel bittersweet about saying goodbye to StrawBeary. I don’t like it so much any more, but this was my gateway into the world of digi-scrapping.  So to celebrate what StrawBeary has meant to me, all of my products are 75% off for the rest of 2009!

Not only am I changing my name, but I am also doing some changing of stores. Unfortunately, the owner of Scrap It Sassy has decided to make some changes to her contract and policies that I don’t agree with, so I have decided to leave there. I gave my notice two weeks ago, and Thursday will be my last day there.

In it’s place, I have signed up with DigiScraps Drive-In! This awesome store has a fantabulous forum with great challenges, talented designers, and an incredible management!  Plus, my products are being quality checked to make sure you get the best possible designs!

The frame isn’t from my kit, but I have no idea where I got it. The designer just labeled it 14. If anyone knows who made it, let me know so I can credit them, please. I’m thinking I’ll make this layout into a template for you, so come back by!

Blog Trains, Sales, and News, Oh My!

Isn’t it funny (ironic) how life just seems to happen? I posted that I would be back soon with some freebies for you, and never made it back. My son got sick again, and then my grandfather passed away…

Well, I am back today with enough great stuff to make up for it!

First of all,  I am…  CHANGING MY DESIGN NAME! When I first started designing, I thought StrawBeary Designs was cute. I already had WAHM business selling hair bows for little girls under the name StrawBeary Bows, so it seemed like StrawBeary Designs was the logical name for my scrap kits! Well, 9 months later, I’m not liking it so much. Therefore, I am changing my name to Charm City Scraps. Be on the lookout for my official announcement and the opening of my new website.

Wow! It’s been a long time!

I haven’t posted in over a month! We’ve had a lot of illness here, and it’s been keeping me busy (or in bed, lol). First my kids were sick, then I ended up with H1N1, so I’m finally just getting around to feeling like myself again.

I have a few new kits to share with you and some awesome freebies coming up! Plus, I’m hoping to get into some blog trains for December, since the November trains didn’t work out. Thanks for checking back with me! I’ll work on getting some previews up for you tonight, as well as a freebie!

It’s Blog Train time again!

Pumpkin Spice is here!

Hello! Sorry I went MIA again. I’ve been super busy! First of all, I have been designing new kits and templates, getting my CT forum ready to launch, and working on two blog trains that are launching next week. Plus, I’m part of a special designer workshop at Scrap It Sassy, the Secret Sassy Designer Program. Add to all that my “real-life,” and I am busy busy busy, lol.
